World Heritage Day, 18th April


18th april , a day to remember the glories and the architecture of our ancestors . Heritage around the world serves as a lesson to us ,they let us know about the culture , society and people of that time. They teach us what to do and what not to do . World heritage are not just monuments or old building, they can be anything from books to dance, from letters to poem . Even our culture and traditions are heritage to us.The World Heritage List includes 962 properties till now .


Over a period  UNESCO has considered 29 such world heritage sites in India .These have 23 cultural  and 6 natural  site spread across the nation . Few of them are the
